Anna is an estate planning attorney with over twenty years of experience. Her decision to establish Eckert Byrne LLC stemmed from a desire to create estate plans that encompass more than just the transfer of tangible assets. Her life experience as a young widow revealed a need to pass on wisdom and values to help those left behind. She has committed the last decade to creating a team that shares this vision.

Anna’s goal is to help her clients express their values and pass those on along with their assets with the lowest expense and tax impact possible. She was honored by Lawyers Weekly as a Top Woman of Law in Massachusetts in 2014. Anna was named SuperLawyer™ by Thomson Reuters in 2015, 2016 and again in 2017. She recently published a book, A Widow’s Guide, to help women who have lost a spouse through their first year. Anna takes on a very limited number of clients per year.

Fun Fact: Anna loves to spend her time in baking and in the garden – just last year she became the queen bee to a Cambridge hive of honey bees. She recently made a resolution to make something new every week. So far, she’s baked breads, made lip balm and even made a body butter!

Kristin is an Attorney with over a decade of experience in estate planning and estate (probate) and trust administration. Kristin oversees all of Eckert Byrne’s tree plans and works closely with Audrey & Isel to ensure our clients’ needs are met. She also manages both our probate & trust administration department, as well as our client maintenance programs.  Her professional hallmark is to not only provide exceptional representation, but also to provide service with compassion and clarity, for even the most complex matters. Kristin was an adjunct professor at New England Law | Boston, and her teaching experience is evident in how she approaches planning with her clients.

Kristin was named a Rising Star in Estate Planning and Probate by SuperLawyer™ by Thomson Reuters in 2017 and 2018. She is a member of the Professional Advisor Council for the Cambridge Community Foundation. Most importantly, she welcomed her daughter, Matilda “Tillie,” in May of 2017! Head over to her blog to read more about her unique perspective as a young parent in the estate planning field. Kristin lives in Cambridge with her husband and daughter.

Fun Fact: Kristin chooses her vacation destinations based on foods she wants to try!  She has eaten aspic in Russia, fermented shark in Iceland, thousand-year-old eggs in China, calf brains in Paris, and goat cheeks in Budapest, to name a few!  Next on her list? Live octopus in Tokyo.

Audrey serves as the Operations Manager at Eckert Byrne LLC. She can be reached to coordinate meetings and is available to answer any questions and calls related to your initial consultation or design meeting. It is her utmost priority to make sure that clients are well taken care of throughout their entire estate planning process.

Fun Fact: Audrey loves to travel especially if she can go scuba diving – she’s PADI open-water certified!

Isel is a familiar face to the Eckert Byrne team and joined us last year from our old location. Her role here is to provide administrative support to the staff and to our clients. She can be contacted to coordinate meetings & appointments with the attorneys, as well as to answer any questions a prospective client may have.

Fun Fact: Isel is a hands-on creator who loves to draw, paint, design, and sculpt!

Claudia is our most recent addition and comes with years of estate planning experience. She will be assisting Anna and Kristin on our probate & estate administration cases as well as on the administration of our client maintenance programs (including Life & Legacy Review and Legal Check Up).
