Anna is an estate planning attorney with over twenty years of experience. Her decision to establish her own firm stemmed from a desire to create estate plans that encompass more than just the transfer of tangible assets. Anna Eckert Byrne, JD
Principal, Licensed in MA and NY
Anna is an estate planning attorney with over twenty years of experience. Her decision to establish her own firm stemmed from a desire to create estate plans that encompass more than just the transfer of tangible assets. Her life experience as a young widow revealed a need to pass on wisdom and values to help those left behind. Anna’s goal is to help her clients express their values and pass those on along with their assets with the lowest expense and tax impact possible.

Anna M. Eckert ByrneAnna has been a member of the Massachusetts and New York bars since 1994. She began her career in tax at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and Internal Revenue Service. Lawyers Weekly selected her to the Top Women of Law in Massachusetts in 2014. Boston Magazine recognized her as a Super Lawyer in 2015 for her Estate Planning and Probate practice. She has been selected for membership in the American Association of Trusts, Estates and Elder Law Attorneys (AATEELA), an invitation-only, professional association of estate planning and elder law attorneys from across the United States, as well as Provisors, the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys (NNEPA), and the USA500 professional groups.

Anna then worked at a large regional financial planning firm advising entrepreneurs and business owners in creating tax efficient stock option and investment strategies and advanced estate planning solutions. Subsequently, she was involved as a principal at an early-stage venture capital firm and served as corporate counsel to a business incubator.

In 2001 she founded the registered investment advisor company, Kirkland Advisors, LLC, which provided comprehensive tax, financial and investment planning to individuals. She entered private practice in 2005 and worked with a South Shore law firm advising individuals and small business owners to create estate and business succession plans and small business matters.

Anna holds a bachelors degree with a major in economics and minors in French and German from New York University (1991) and a law degree from the New England School of Law (1994). She frequently offers seminars to non-profits, businesses, and individual groups on various subjects. She has served on numerous non-profit boards of directors and currently serves on the Board of the Agassiz Baldwin Community in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Anna is fluent in Polish and resides in Cambridge with her husband and son.

Kristin N.G. Dzialo
Attorney
Kristin is an Associate Attorney with over six years of experience in estate administration/probate and estate planning, and is an Adjunct Professor at New England Law | Boston. Prior to joining Eckert Byrne, Kristin worked in a general practice law firm, where she developed an extensive knowledge of the Massachusetts Uniform Probate Code and estate planning.  She has experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, involving complex financial and family dynamics.

Kristin focuses on estate planning, including trusts and all of our Will-based plans, as well as our estate administration (probate) cases.  Her professional hallmark is to not only provide exceptional representation, but also to provide service with compassion and clarity. 

A Dean's List graduate of both Northeastern University and New England School of Law, Kristin also studied Chinese Language in Beijing. In addition to her experience with estate law, civil litigation, and real estate law, Kristin has also worked with Greater Boston Legal Services providing representation for indigent clients. She also serves on the Professional Advisors Council for the Cambridge Community Foundation.

Kristin currently resides in Cambridge with her husband. She enjoys learning about nutrition, cooking and baking, and is an avid traveler.

Audrey is a recent graduate of Connecticut College with a degree in Economics and Government. She has lived in the Boston suburbs for years and is excited to be exploring Cambridge. In her free time, she likes to cook and ski. She enjoys traveling and is a certified open water scuba diver. Audrey provides the EBLLC team with administrative and scheduling support.
